Both beautiful and practical, upright memorials possess a distinguished presence. Many families prefer uprights because they tend to have a larger inscription surface and are more easily viewed from a distance.

Typically, uprights are higher and wider than they are deep, but variations in these proportions are common as are monument sizes in general. The tops of our standard upright model shapes are serpentine, flat and oval. Furthermore, the tops (and any other face of the monument) may come in a variety of finishes—each style adding a different look to the monument.

Serenity’s upright memorials are securely mounted to a granite base at least 4” thick. Cemeteries often install memorials on foundations, providing further stability and security. Please contact us if you have any question about our upright monuments.
